History
The Kapiti Camera Club was established in 1969 by David and Carol Holt. Having immigrated from Britain and having been a member of a camera club in England, he looked for a club to attend and founded the Porirua Photographic Society. While the structure of this club didn’t suit David, and with declining membership he set out to create the Kapiti Camera Club.
