Alternative Printing Processes – Clive Pigott

Alternative processes are about using non-commercial photographic chemicals and consumables to generate hand-made prints.

The processes I shall be describing are hybrids between digital capture and analogue contact printing using a UV light source.

I make Anthotype, Cyanotype and Gum bichromate prints – each with origins from the early 1800s, and each with a different complexity and outcome.

It is great fun, hands-on and very satisfying.
